The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I agree with Ms Wrede! The sparkle in the water in your beautiful painting is fantastic. I live on a lake and have been contemplating doing some black and white paintings. I haven't painted in a year and only painted a few years before this. I'm ready to give it a go again.
